You should have switched to spouse visa before you resigned. The requirement is to earn minimum of £18,600pa and it must be 'ongoing employment'.

What review? Do you have a link? As CR001 has advised, your income must be ongoing and in fact you are required to submit a letter from your employer confirming that the employment is continuing with confirmation of salary.

My advice still stands. As it stands now based on what you say, you are unemployed on a company sponsored visa (effectively a cancelled visa) and your spouse does not earn enough to meet the requirements. You will therefore be unlikely to be granted a spouse visa because you do not meet the requirements, which need to be 'ongoing' and not 'I will be looking for a job when I get a spouse visa'.

You made a rash decision resigning before switching. If your sponsor employer has notified HO, which they legally have to do, then you might very well have a problem.

Instead of switching to spouse visa can you not find another job? Atleast then you will have something to prove your own income then at the end of your next tier 2, you can apply for ILR. Fingers crossed for you.
