Thanks for your reply - I am currently in my 3rd year of the Tier-2 General, so still a couple years and more left for the ILR - but even on my Tier-2 general then I don't need to apply for the child's visa straight away and can do it along with my extension, with no hassles at all then from UKBA, right?CR001 wrote:Not sure when you would qualify for ILR but your UK born child would not need a visa at all if you have absolutely no plans to travel and baby can register as British as soon as your ILR is granted.
Thank you so much.CR001 wrote:Should be fine yes.
Thanks - however as said earlier I am not planning on applying for the visa of my baby (to be born) and will do so when ours come up for renewal towards the end of the year - so that shouldn't be an issue right? All the others in the family of-course have valid Tier 2 visas.CR001 wrote:You can travel freely to Scotland, they use the same visas that you have as they are part of the UK.
