ILR 5 year route and tax amendment

Post by apnauk » Tue Jul 18, 2017 7:26 pm

Hi there

My wife's ilr is due next year on flrm 5 year route, and i am uk national, i am thinking last time at her extension of flrm i showed my income of 18600£ as self employed which later on amended( after she got the flrm m extension) because of loss in sales and reduced to 13000£

My question is that at the time of her ilr next year, would home office look into the earning at the time of her last extension which was reduced to 13000( after getting the extension).

1, if yes then what are the chances? 50/50 or less then that

2, did you see any case about ilr( flrm route) refused on previous tax amendment basis?

i would really appreciate your help

arun

I didn't say it was, just that it looks like it, I didn't fall of a Christmas tree ad neither have the good fellows at the UKVI.

Losses should be accrued for, no excuses, I've been in business since 1991 and been an accountant before then, I'd be shot for not accruing, certainly for such a large amount of the whole as here.

Odd though the earnings were EXACTLY £18,600, the same as the minimum required.

More likely HO will carry out extensive checks, may call for interviews and ask solid documents to justify that.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
