Which is it? Is your family French or British? What is your relationship to the EEA citizen sponsor? Is the EEA citizen sponsor exercising treaty rights in the UK or has s/he acquired PR or has s/he acquired British citizenship?
If you search the users numerous 'urgent' posts, EU sponsor is OPs French wife, currently in France on maternity leave.secret.simon wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 2:27 pmWhich is it? I recognised the user name, but the information in the user's posts is so fragmentary and scattered, I thought it better to ask for specific information that is related to this query so that it is in one place.
Finanically, british family members..
Ok, less chances if she come via my brother. British.even though he has helped her more then me.secret.simon wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 5:48 pmThe British family members cannot sponsor your mother, as CR001 has mentioned.
In order for her to qualify for an EEA FP, she (your mother) needs to prove that
a) your French wife is a qualified person and exercising treaty rights in the UK.
b) that she (your mother) is dependent on your EEA citizen spouse and you. That typically requires proof of financial support from your EEA citizen spouse and you to her over a period of time.
If you start planning ahead, you should be able to have such documentation by March next year.
