Hello Everyone,
I recently switched to a Tier 2 visa from a Tier 4 visa. I also have one dependant (my wife) linked to the visa.
Unfortunately, the sponsoring company is shutting down owing to financial troubles. As a consequence, I had to look for another job. Luckily, I was able to do that. However, the new company is in the process of getting a Tier 2 license (already applied) and it might take a month (or more) before it is able to issue a CoS.
The employment at my current company ends in another month, after which they will have to notify UKVI. As a result, I might receive a curtailment letter for both my wife and me before I apply for a Tier 2 visa again.
According to other forum posts, I usually don't need to reapply for the PBS dependant visa if I am changing employers and applying for a new Tier 2 visa. Does that hold even I receive a curtailment letter for both of us?
Has someone been in a similar situation? Any help would be highly appreciated.
