Can I get my spouse here

Post by Pandaandrock » Mon Dec 10, 2018 11:43 am

Hi

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section.

I am divorced from a person from outside the EU who I had previously gotten a spouse visa but we broke up and she has returned to her country before the 5 year term could be completed there for she had to return to her country of origin.

I have met a new partner and I want her to come here under a spouse visa, I wondering will my previous relationship be a black mark on my future wife’s visa application. As I meet all other requirements from housing to financial.

Thank you for your time.

Do you have evidence of your divorce as this will be a mandatory document to submit with a new spouse visa application??

If you were free to marry (legally divorced) then no issue, if not only then will be a problem.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
