Tier 2 ICT then ICT Dependent to Tier 2 General

Hi Admin,

Please need your input for below scenario.

I landed in UK on 02- Feb-2017 on Tier 2 ICT Long term visa and stayed on ICT long term visa visa till 20- Dec- 2018.
Move to Tier 2 ICT dependent visa on 21- Dec- 2018 and on same visa currently.

If i want to move/ process Tier 2 General visa now, please suggest from UK immigration rules perspective:
• Is there any period (cooling) need to served on ICT dependent visa before moving to Tier 2 General visa or there is no time period need to be served.

You need to wait 12 months from the date you got a dependent visa. This WILL be the 'cooling off' period before you can apply for Tier 2 General from your home country with an RCoS. You cannot change immediately now to Tier 2 General as you held a Tier 2 ICT main visa less than 12 months ago.
