Post by docmail » Wed Feb 06, 2019 11:49 pm

Dear Gurus,
I want to know if my employer has curtailed my visa. How to check that as fast as I possible. I do not want to ask my employer.

An employer has no powers to curtail leave. They may fire you, but curtailment is a matter for the Home Office.

Why do you want to ask and prompt them to notify in case they haven't already?

It's their job to notify, so better to just try for another job/sponsor while waiting for the curtailment letter to arrive in the post.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

No they don't have to tell you, if you are no longer their employee.

You have to wait to hear from HO.

(ii) should I apply for my visa with a start date on or before 09th march, 2019 OR

There is NO 60 day employment gap restriction anymore, if this is what you think and are referring to.

60 days curtailment starts when HO write to you and NOT from date you left employment.
