ILR - financial requirement on Maternity Leave

Post by NSLTRHN » Tue Mar 12, 2019 5:25 pm

Hello,

My husband has completed 5 years on his spouse visa and will apply for ILR soon.

His income is more complex and we want to use my income to meet the financial requirement (£34,400).

The issue is that I have been on Maternity Leave since March 2017 - paid in full for 6 months then SMP until July 2018. I have since been on unpaid maternity leave and have had to take extra unpaid special leave due to my son's medical issues. I'm now back at work since last week and will have 1 payslip by the time we apply.

Do you think it is possible that I use income from before my maternity leave to meet the threshold?
