Hi. If my tier 2 visa is valid for one year and my contract of 6 months duration has ended, can i visit home country before extending my contract with the same employer in the same job?

What exactly do you mean by 'contract'?? Do you mean 'employment contract' or that you are 'contracting'??

By contract i mean employment contract or job contract
