Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for your enquiry and please accept my apology for the delay in responding. I would like to inform you, the processing of this application has not been straightforward. We are continuing to work on the application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to. We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will be made. However, I have escalated this to the appropriate Entry Clearance team so that it can be progressed as quickly as possible.

If you have any further enquiries, please visit our website at www.GOV.UK

Did your marriage registration take place in UK?
Not sure why they are taking that long its unfortunate 🥴
Usually HO takes long to investigate where they have a doubt that its a sham marriage. If your marriage is genuine I dont think you should worry its just a matter of time. Ask your husband to contact his local MP in UK. That might help expedite the case.

On what visa did you live here for 11 months??

Did you get married with HO approval at the Registry office or was it an Islamic wedding performed in the UK?

HO only investigates into a sham marriage usually. If OP has had registration done in UK and genuinely married there is no legitimate way they will delay usually. Some reasons are if there is a huge age gap between the couple or they are not from the same origin etc can ring bells. Anyways good luck to the OP.

The issue is as I have asked. An Islamic marriage performed in the UK for example is not recognised so they would not be considered married but unmarried partner which has the mandatory 24 months evidence of relationship akin to marriage.

OP states they stayed in the UK for 11 months, what visa is the question.
