Spouse visa accomodation requirement question

Hope you are all having a good day.

New to the forums, had a question regarding accomodation.

I live with my family in a family rented house, I pay my parents for the double room i have rented from them but i am not on the tenancy agreement and do not pay the council tax(but the agency knows i live here as its a 4 bedroom house and my sister and i live with family and both have our own rooms)

I pay utility and the double room rent, wanted to know whether a letter from my parents and sibling who also lives in the house is enough as proof of accomodation, where they can say they are happy for my partner to join me once he gets the visa?

Wondering if anyone could help regarding this as i don't know whether i should just ask to be in the tenancy agreement as well just to make my case as strong as possible for the spouse visa application. Please advice

I think you require a letter from the landlord that you (and your expected spouse) have permission for live at the property.
