Buku Nikah translation - UK spouse visa

Post by Bule88 » Tue May 14, 2019 3:29 pm

Hi,

I recently got married in a moslem ceremony in Indonesia to an Indonesian, and we got our book of marriage (Buku Nikah) from KUA. So the questions is ...do i need to translate the Buku Nikah because when i see the inside of the book, some page using both languages (indonesian - english) and some pages just use indonesian language. Do i need to translate the Buku Nikah for the purpose of applying for a UK spouse visa for my wife? The key information is in both languages, but unsure if that's ok without the translation?

Thanks,
Bule88

Hello,

The Nikkah papers must be provided in the English language in their entirety.

Travel history

Post by Bule88 » Thu May 16, 2019 10:50 pm

Hi,

I'm just filling out the UK spouse visa online form and it's asking for my wife's travel history in the last 10 years. Problem is she hasn't go her old passport where she traveled back and forth to Thailand a lot a few years ago and can't remember the dates each time she entered. What shall I put?

Thanks

Payslip date different to paid date

Post by Bule88 » Tue May 21, 2019 7:41 pm

Hi,

I just noticed that my wage slips have a different date to when I get paid, ie I get paid on the 28th but the pay slips are dated the last day of the month. Will this cause a issue?

Thanks in advance.
