My partner has Tier 2 general visa and i am his dependent. We are preparing to apply for settlement (ILR)
I need to clarify a bit of my confusion about english language test. According to my understanding we need B1 level english test . Can u please guide if thats right and also guide which IElts test is enough??. ( as there are many types).
IELTS life skills is enough to prove B1 english skills.?? Both of us needs to do the same english language test? Or is it different for my husband because he is main applicant of Tier 2 general visa?

Is it i acceptable list?

Your foreign national identity card is NOT required.Mehreen123 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 2:44 pmHi
My husband is on tier 2 work visa and i am his dependant
We are applying for ILR by the end of this month via online application.
In online application there was a part where it was asked that, if you have a nic of ur country of birth than provide details like nic number, issue date, expiry date
I am Pakistani so my NIC is in urdu
I dont have overseas pakistani card that is in English.
So should i not give the NIC number as i dont have it in english ???
Please help
That does not matter. If you have NIC or NICOP, your citizenship number remains the same. This question is not important but if you have a NIC (even urdu) quote the citizenship number there.Mehreen123 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 2:44 pmHi

You can all apply at the same time if you all meet the requirements. One form for all of you.1: will I be eligible to apply for settlement (ILR) at the same time as my husband? Or
Because of not being the main applicant and being a dependant, will I be eligible at different time ( later than my husband) ?
You can apply together.2: As I mentioned earlier, I will apply after my husband so when is the right time to submit my application? Can I do it right after my husband has submitted his application?
Or do I need to wait for the outcome of my husband's application?
3: I also do a small job in local school as a mid day assistant.
Do i need to mention that in my application ? like providing a letter from employer or my pay slips?
Only your husband is required to provide one month bank statement and payslip to prove he meets the ILR salary requirement.4: In the required documents they didnt asked for my bank statement. i dont have any joint bank accounts with my husband, only got joint utility accounts, which is not asked to provide. Should i provide them in supporting docs?

Only LIVED as it asks, not visited.i was filling up the online form and came across this question.
Please enter the country you have lived in. You will be able to enter additional countries after you click save and continue. Include all countries no matter how long you lived there.
i am a bit confused in answering this question. i have been to a couple of countries like UAE and Bangladesh for visit on a visit visa. Am I suppose to mention all the travel history of my life ?
Or just need to mention the countries where i have been to live for a long time ..
You should be able to apply now. Does the form ask for his reference number??One more thing my husband got the email saying that he will get his BRP in 10 days. do i need to wait for hi BRP to arrive or is it ok to apply now ? And if i CAN apply now then where to find the home office ref??
