Afghan Soldier - claiming asylum in the UK

Hi ,

I've got a relative in Kabul - Afghanistan.

He works for the Afghan National Army (ANA) and has narrowly escaped Taliban attacks.

He now fears for his life. He cannot re-locate to other cities, because (1) other rural cities are less safe than the capital, (2) he is well known and they could identify him.

Will this be enough ground for his asylum to be accepted in the UK?

I don't think its at least possible while working for Afghan Army.

Only if he land in the UK somehow illegally / legally
