Depends on the location and availability. Also depends if you are after a free appointment. Free appointments can take up to a few weeks to a month also at some locations. Fastest is London Premium Lounge if you want to pay around £200+ you can get appointment in 1-2 days also.

But still luckily the date of online submission of the application form will be the date of application.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually i am trying to delay the submission of biometrics to buy some time as I am 2 months short for my ILR.

Tier 4 Visa Issue date 15 September 2009
Entered the UK on 30 September 2009.
Tier 2 Visa expiry date July 14 2019.

Any suggestions?

You don't get 2 months to enroll biometrics. I believe it is around 40 days.

Note also that the date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not the date you attend your biometric appointment.

Thank you, I am thinking to go for FLR (fp) first then varying it to SET (lr).
