FLR (M) application but seriously HELP NEEDED PLS.

Post by TandT » Tue Aug 27, 2019 5:53 pm

Hello everyone,

I pray someone outthere will be kind to help me on this journey of my life again. Suitching to 5yrs route

So basically, presently i did have LTR 2.5 ON FLR FP as a parent of british son and 15yrs old non british daughter with LTR 2.5 same as me the mother. My situation with their dad is a roller costa one but he always there for any support on the children.

However, since 2018 the children has bonded us together and we both like to be together again and i have been reading alot on this forum but honestly I AM CONFUSED RIGHT NOW AS HOW TO START.

QUESTIONS ARE AS FOLLOW,

1, My ltr 2.5 due for renew soon and we will like to get married as he is about to apply for his BC soon. How many months stay do i have to have to marry him if i have 1yr left with on my ltr?

2, Do i need English Test as am doing Functional skill math and english level 2 right now?

3 Do i have to inform the HO now our intention or after mariage?

4, since Jan 2019 my salary is £1076 a month and he is on £1900 a month for some time now.

5, We both stay in a 3 bedroom house now belong to him but the association knew that we all stay together in the house. Did i need letter from them regarding this?

ANYTHING I CAN READ TO BE SUCCESSFUL ON THIS JOURNEY WILL BE APPRICIATED FROM ANY WISDOM HUMAN ON THIS PLATFORM.

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE.

1. You can marry him whenever you feel is convenient but if you want to switch into spouse visa then you have to apply for FLRM visa before your present visa expiry.

2. yes at least A1 ielts life skills if switching into flrm spouse visa

3. When you will apply extension of FLRFP or switch into FLRM then HO will automatically be updated

4. His wages alone can meet the financial threshold of £18600

5. yes noc letter

Thank you so much for your response. Seagul

Regarding the wages. It is going to be me and my 15yrs old daughter that will be switching. Are you saying only his wages will be okay for the entire application or?

Also, where can I do the English test you mentioned? and you also said that I should switch before our current ltr 2.5 expire but can we submit the application towards the 28 days to the expiring date or we will be breaking the law at that time?

Moreover, as we both engage discussions on this issue. I will contact the registry for the procedure and I also read from the forum that I have to take permission from the HO in other to get married? if it is yes when is the best time to do this?

Thank you so much in advance, everyone.

1. If your none-British daughter also applying then you both will have to combine your incomes to meet the £22400.

As you have no doubt already seen on the forum, you can only give notice at a Home Office designated Registry office. The Registrar is then legally bound to notify the HO who can then extend the notification period from 28 to 70 days in order to interview you both separately before the marriage can go ahead, should they choose to do so.

Not all marriage registrations are extended.

If Manchester center is convenient for you then according to the list the centre # GBS07 located at Connell 6th Form College, 301 Alan Turing Way, Manchester M11 3BS do offers Ielts life skills test.
NOC letter means no objection letter where the landlord/association/estate agent give permission to the sponsor and his family to live there.

Good morning to you all,

Just for a quick clarification. Please as i have read that we can both get married at anytime before my curent LTR finishes and submit FLR M application. Did I have to show that we have lived or be together for 2yrs before married or the issue of co habiting bills not really necessarily?

Also can I submit the application if my LTR is about six month left to expire or wait towards the end?

Waiting for reply from any knowledgable member within the forum.

Thanks.

For initial flrm / spouse visa application the 2 year of cohabitation evidences aren't needed rather any proof of address/residence addressed in joint/individual name will be sufficient.

You can apply to change to the 5 year FLR(M) route at any time when you meet the requirements, ie. English and financial.

Very good Sunday to you all,

As part of my preparation on the future application. Please anyone explain if any FLM application is sucessful, does the LTR CARD come with no recourse to public fund as a spouse of a settle person or not?

Also secondly, my daughter is preparing to go to college and by the time she finishes college, she would have been living in the UK for over 10years as we arrived in UK in 2007 but FLR FP was granted to me and her in September 2018.

My bigest fear now is the issue of applying for the school loan and maintenance for her to study at both College and University in future. Or can her dad (BC holder) apply for her as sponsor? but when she get to university age obviously she will be adult then and she will still be having FLR M at hand. Can she still be dependant on her dad British passport holder?

Please looking forward to read any information from moderator,individuals/govenrment on how child/people without settle status can school under such immigration rules.

Thank you all for all your help in advance and hope to hearing from anyone blessed with wisdom on this issue.

FLR M visa holders cannot get public funds so it would clearly state the no recourse to public funds condition.

She won't qualify for student finance etc. You will have to pay the fees the college state. Only those who hold ILR can get the finance and loans.

No her father cannot. It is the student that has to apply and qualify.

Thank you so much CR001,

But sometime ago I read on Freedom of Movement article that the Supreme Court Lady Hale passed a judgement on this issue that any child that has been in the UK legally for 3years can apply for student loan to study in the UK but I have lost the link now.

Hope anyone outthere can still point me to where to find the link again.

Thanks for all your help. God bless you all.
