This is what Home Office’s website says:samarasammy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 3:40 pmMy problem is: the language requirements accept a Masters, Bachelors and PHD, however, there's no mention on PG Dip, which is an equivalent to Masters (the only difference is that I don't do the dissertation at the end of the course). It was taught in English.
So, I just want to know if my PG Dip will be valid as a language requirement. We had no answer from the Immigration hotline, and The University acknowledges our dilemma
Just to clarify: it doesn’t matter how high your English level is. It’s about submitting the right document rather than holding an outstanding level. My spouse visa was initially refused since I submitted a wrong IELTS version but with a C1 level.samarasammy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 3:40 pmThe language requirements for my course on Translation Studies was also superior to the ones required for the UK Fiancé visa ( I needed to be a C1 to take the course and the requirements are B1 (the highest) for UK Visa.

The Statement of Comparability confirms how your overseas qualifications compare to the UK system by comparing them to qualification framework levels and qualification types.

Where can I find this information, please?
Diplomas
Applicants holding a postgraduate diploma, or a graduate diploma from a UK university, are considered to have the required level of English for a settlement or citizenship application.
Postgraduate diplomas are usually abbreviated as PGDip, PG Dip, PgD, PgDip.
Examples would be:•postgraduate diploma in legal practice
•graduate diploma in law
•postgraduate diploma in education
•postgraduate diploma in teaching
Also many postgraduate diplomas/courses despite have the entry requirement of Bachelor degree but can be waived depending on age and/or work experience. That still class as professional course.samarasammy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 2:55 pmActually, I had to have a Bachelors Degree (hons 2:1) in order to take the course at the University of Leeds.

However, I will take the IELTS Life Skills in B1 in order to not have any problem. However I had some problems during the application, do I need to say that I was referred by my partner? And I need to tick Immigration for the reason of the test, right
