Stamp4EUFAM and visit to Hungary

I have been contacting Hungarian embassy in Dublin to check if Stamp4EUFAM holder could visit Hungary with EU spouse but no response. Without getting Schengen visa.

Anyone visited Hungary with Stamp4EUFAM recently?

If the EUFAM holder is traveling with or joining their EU citizen spouse then they can travel without a visa.

However, many immigration officers from different EU countries are not aware of Stamp4EUFAM. Is there any legal documentation that I could take?

Your spouse is carrying a IRP (GNIB) card which is a residence permit issued under Article 10, Directive 2004/38/EC. I suppose you could carry the below just in case? But all you need is your spouse's passport, GNIB/IRP, and proof of relationship.

Your spouse is carrying a IRP (GNIB) card which is a residence permit issued under Article 10, Directive 2004/38/EC. I suppose you could carry the below just in case? But all you need is your spouse's passport, GNIB/IRP, and proof of relationship.

I hold a 10 years Stamp4EUFAM and my spouse is from Hungary.
We would like to visit Hungary and I have asked Hungarian embassy in Dublin to give us a letter that Stamp4EUFAM don't require visa if travelling with EU spouse or joining them. However, embassy is not replying.

Anyone has experience or got official link?
Because 2 years ago when we visited Hungary together, immigration officer at Hungarian border didn't know what Stamp4EUFAM is and said no entry without visa. After making calls he finally allowed us with an angry face.

Section 16 also says "and of the use of the right of free movement of the EEA national (e.g. a registration certificate)."

My EU spouse doesn't have this. But working legally in Ireland for the last 6 years. Any thoughts on this?
