Like many others here, I have not received a decision or any acknowledgement within 24 hours of UKVCAS appointment for ILR (LR)! This is despite paying an extortionate £3208.20+£145 Sopra Steria fees. What's the point of super priority if they can't meet the deadline? not even an acknowledgement of delay!
I had my appointment in 19th December 8 am, was expecting a decision by Friday. Can anyone advise me about the next steps if a decision is not made on Monday? Can I claim refund for the £800 paid for the super priority service.
Many thanks,
No update yet! called HO they said they can only escalate after 5 working days!aligbutt wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 11:21 pmrjahan wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 8:51 pmHi all,

Hi, have you received any update?
HO must be celebrating Christmas too much! Lol. You should claim for £800 refund once you receive your decision. Good luck anyways!rjahan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:14 amNo update yet! called HO they said they can only escalate after 5 working days!aligbutt wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 11:21 pmrjahan wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 8:51 pmHi all,

Hi, have you received any update?
Either of you
If the right to work status has changed, then you should be ok. You should receive approved decision letter within 5 working days hopefully.rjahan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 9:23 amHi All,
Just to update, following my super priority appointment on 19th Dec still haven't received any decision from the HO. Yesterday, I called the HO call centre to escalate and within an hour received the email below:
" Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.
Our records show your application has not yet been completed.
We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made. Until such time, we are unable to assist further. Should the caseworker require further information and/or documents they will contact you.
We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance at this time."
However, the right to work status have changed to following "You can work in the UK. There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK.' Note I'm currently on Tier 2 and it was showing the expiry date of visa before yesterday afternoon.
Not sure what to make of it until the decision from HO, does anyone have similar experience? Also is there a refund request procedure for the super priority service fees?
Many thanks,
No chance of a refund. The super priority fee is for a quick decision and NOT the brp card delivery or card error.Dusty31 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 3:57 pmHi All,
I paid for super priority, got my card but there was an error on the validity, I was told to send it back within 10days, I posted it back 2nd of Dec, I am yet to get a response from anyone. I was suppose to travel with my kids for Christmas, I couldn’t. All effort to get a response from the department fail through. I will like to know if I am suppose to get a refund regarding the fact that I never got my card in time. I am yet to get my card. Does anyone have any idea as to what to do. I am super upset, feels like I failed my kids.
You aren't entitled to refund as you paid for a service for a decision within a stipulated timeframe, which you clearly received. Super priority is only for a quick decision and not brp delivery.Eranchho wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 1:22 pmHi there,
I have a situation where my BRP delivery card was delivered extremely late to me due to the HO and BRP delivery team being so slack and useless.
Long story cut short, I have emailed the complaints team numerous times, called up their helpline which keep referring me to the complaints team.
I sent my first email on 04/12/2019 and only received a response yesterday with them stating they do not think I am entitled to a refund.
I understand that paying for the super priority service gave me my decision on the same day, which they did. Then following that a letter from HO(dated 11/11/2019) stated I should have received my BRP card 7-10 working days of the letter, which means I was to receive my card by 25/11/2019.
My card was reported as lost by our lawyer and when the team tried delivering the card, they could not find the address even though they were given a full address and post code.
I have been sent on a wild goose chase and eventually my BRP card was delivered to me overseas on 26th December 2019. An entire 32 working days of the date I was supposed to.
My question is, does anyone have a contact of who I can get in touch regarding this situation and the immorality of the super priority service.
I still feel like I am entitled to this refund as the service was not delivered to me as show HO stated on the decision letter of receiving my BRP card.
Any guidance/assistance would be appreciated.

DX courier is responsible for delivery and it would have been advisable to contact them first before reporting the card lost, which has caused an additional delay as HO has to follow due process to get the other gov department in Wales to print and send a new card.
