- last 5 years P60s
You do NOT need to submit these.
- Last 6 months salary Slips
- Last 6 months online bank statements
The requirment is to only submit ONE months payslip and corresponding months bank statement, not 6 months.

It is form SET O yes.

The employment letter needs to state the salary, SOC, job title, how long you have been employed etc. It also need to state you are required in your job for the foreseeable future ( not projects or assignments, as this looks like you could be contracting, which is not permitted).

Thank you CR001 for information.
In Some topics in this site. Applicants discussing about submitting absent letter from employer mentioning Period of absents/Holidays. Is this must document to submit?

My concern is getting this kind letter from previous employer is time consuming. They are very slow in providing supportive documents.

And

Do I need any other documents other than mentioned?

Note- I am in bit tricky situation now. I suppose to process my ILR in March itself. But due to Covid-19, It is delayed. We are expecting baby in around 3rd week of June. So I must process this as earliest possible.
Do I must have ILR process completed before my baby due date, so that new born can be British citizen or Do we have a buffer time period even after new born birth date?

Thanks Again!

Yes, absence letter is mandatory. This is for absence out of the UK.

You need to try and if unsuccessful, provide a letter examining and declaring your absence. Ideally also with proof from the previous employer that they can't provide it.

No. You only need extra documents if you have dependents applying with you and you haven't stated if they are or not.

There is no "buffer period". If the child is born before you are granted ilr, the child is not British and will have to be registered as British on form mn1. It is unlikely you will have an ilr decision by then as there are delays due to the test centres and ukcvas biometric centres being closed. Those who have already applied online and waiting for biometrics will get first choice and option for appointments once the centres reopen.

Note that the priority and super priority are currently not available and likely won't be until the huge backlog of applications are completed and processed. Only standard service is currently available.

- Yes, they are not applying since they entered UK in Oct 2016 as Tier 2 General Dependents. i believe they are not eligible yet. am I correct?

My wife and My First kid (4.11 years old) spent around 3 years 8 months (as of May 2020) in UK. I read that they are not eligible to ILR along with me. they need to go separate after completion of 5 years.

- Is my kid (4.11 years old) is eligible along with me now?

- Thanks. I understand the situation, I am hoping for the best.

No the child is not eligible. The child will only qualify for ilr when your wife does.

Tier 2 General to ILR - Joining Date Delayed

Post by VAISHNAVI777 » Fri May 29, 2020 9:10 pm

Hi All,

I am Tier 2 General Visa Holder. I have a query regarding my starting/joining date.

COS Start Date - 19/Jan/2015
Visa Start Date - 19/Jan/2015
UK Entered Date - 31/Jan/2015
My planned Joining Date - 02/Feb/2015
Actual Start Date - 06/April/2015

I have visited my employer on Next working day of my arrival date for joining.
My employer has mentioned that due to some delays in project kick-off, My joining date is delayed by 2 weeks. but eventually it started on 6/April/2015 after much delays. during this delays days, my co-workers helped me with accommodation. I am grateful having them as co-workers.

My query is,
--> Will this delayed joining create an issue for my ILR process? there is around 77 days diff between COS start date and actual start date of my employment.
I am waiting to process my ILR application after this Closure End due to COVID-19.

Thanks in advance for looking into my query and guiding.

Sorry, Yes. We both are couple. It is not intentional. I was unaware of this rule. Since he was busy with some documentation work. He asked me to help with the query. I did create login ( instead of using his login and was thinking to use my login if I have any query in future) to post it. Apologies for mistake and inconvenience caused.
Could you please guide what should we do know?

Sorry
