You can apply no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date you entered the UK, so the 13th June is the earliest you can apply. Both me and my son are in the 5 years route for settlement. we both got our first visa on 23rd June 2015, entered UK on 11th July 2015. So, i am assuming I am eligible to submit by ILR application on 12th June 2020 and progressing with my application.
Regardless of what the application form eventually generate you must adhere as what the official guidance says. So make sure to fulfill the required threshold.Mitras wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 2:08 pmQustion 1: After entering all the relevant details, the application calculated the financial requirement as £18,600. I was expecting it to be £18,600 + £3,800 = £22,400 as I have added my son as the additional applicant. I am not able to edit it. how to correct it to show the threshold amount as £22400 or should i leave it as is. your advice is highly appreciated
Question 2:
Payslips and employment letter - these are now electronically downloaded. Should they be attested by the company HR? since the offices are closed, we will not be able to get it signed and stamped. please advice.
Thank you.
ILR requires English at B1: https://www.trinitycollege.com/qualific ... SE-grade-5Mitras wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 1:39 pmCan I please also ask one more question here as I said 'Other queries' in topic - When I extended my visa in 2018 I had The english language certificate that was at A level as per the Immigration adviser. I was told the same certificate can be used for ILR application now. But going through many threads, I believe that is not the case. Could you kindly advice?
Second question - If i have to now take new test then it is going to delay my application process. Can I apply for ILR for my son who is now 18 in a separate application (He has all the docs in place) and then separate one for myself. Is that possible?
Thanks for the help.
Your son must apply when you do.Mitras wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 1:39 pmCan I please also ask one more question here as I said 'Other queries' in topic - When I extended my visa in 2018 I had The english language certificate that was at A level as per the Immigration adviser.
