Yes. The child will only qualify for citizenship once you are British anyway.Can I apply for citizenship for myself first and then apply for citizenship for my dependent later on?
The child’s biological father lives in a different country and has no parental responsibility/legal guardian rights.

You weren't the sponsor for the visa and ilr, your spouse was.
If you become British, ilr for the child doesn't just become invalid.
Ilr is an independent status, there is no immigration dependency on anyone for those holding ilr.
Yes the child is under 18 so I guess this is fine. We may wait anyway as there is no rush to sort out naturalisation for the child.
