Tier 2 ilr application help.

Post by vab » Sun Aug 16, 2020 1:45 am

Hi
I m preparing my ilr application and would like to apply nex week.
I have two confusions in supporting document.
1. My past and current employer have not provided number of days about my absence. They have provided only dates (like from 01/11/2018 to 4/11/2018). They have metioned wether it is business or anual leave but only duration. They have also mentied that all leave are paid and in line with annual leave quota.
Does it make sense to add days as well with dates?

2. On the other note, how to use english test URN number in ilr application. For example, urn is xxx/123456/123456/12345678 then how to quote this in application. With slash or without shlash ?

Thanks
Vab

ILR Application Tier 2 General and Job title

Post by vab » Tue Aug 18, 2020 7:18 pm

Hi Experts
I have question about my ILR application. CoS assigned for my current VISA extension has XXX job title. After internal restructure I was re-titled as YYY but with same job duty and SOC code. It was not promotion at all. I am chasing up HR to know if they have notified UKVI or not. They are taking their own time. But they are happy to include this job title changes in their cover letter.

My query is if they include in cover letter about this. Will this serve the purpose? Do they need to do anything else.

Any help on this. Based on your suggestion, I will submit documents.

Thanks
Vaibhawa

As the SOC/duties did not change, nothing needs to be done

Hi @zimba

But what if caseworker see difference. Does it depend on individual's discretion? Yes, same soc with same duty need nothing to do but i have seen few post in this forum where members are advising to noifiy ho through sms about change in circumstances.
Do you know any successful decsion on this situation?
Thanks Vab

Hi Zimba

So the rule is:
With same soc code, same job duties, same employer if job tilte is changed (without promotion) then there is no need to notify ukvi through SMS.

Right?

Thanks for your corrections. I will remove most of documents as pointed out by you. Though, I need to add cover letter to explain as I lost my previous passport and BRP.

Hi @CR0001 and Seagul

I have uploaded all docs on UKVCAS website as advised earlier. Should i wait for email for appointment booking or just sumbit the documents ?
Does ukvcas send me appointment email after submitting docs to ukvi or before submitting doc to ukvi?

The best approach would be to submit documents via UKVCAS website. You will be able to add more documents via UKVCAS/IDV app later on if needed. You will be sent communication about the next step via email regardless if you upload documents now or not. You have to wait for official UKVCAS updates and follow the topic as stated below:

There are oscillating opinions so better to scan all pages including blank ones.

Thanks
Vaib
If you have already pressed the submit button then its too late but still these can be submitted when you will attend the appointment or be invited to use UKVI new app or UKVI directly ask you to send.

So there is hope. I do not need to panic. Right ?

What if I am not able to send full passport but only info and stamp pages?

Thanks
