My wife has got British Citizenship via the refugee route. I have personal experience. Happy to help you out with any more questions you have.
1) No issue1) For the naturalisation process in regard to the referee , Will it be of any issues if one of my referee who is British Citizen and are not related are having the SAME SURNAME ?
2) And for the professional referee , Would it be fine if we are sharing/living in the SAME ADDRESS?
3) I do not have the correct/exact information regarding my Parents' Date of Birth , Will I be able to submit the form without their DOB details and just simply mention " NO" as an answer to that question?
Thanking you in advance for your help.
Referees must:
• not be a relative
• not be a solicitor or agent representing you on this application
• not be related to the other referee;;
• not be employed by the Home Office;;
• not have been convicted of an imprisonable offence during the last 10 years
(unless that conviction can be disregarded in line with the table shown in the
Guide);;
• have known the applicant personally;;
• be willing to give full details of their knowledge of the applicant;;
• advise the Home Office of any reason why the applicant should not be
registered.
Thank you very much CULLINAN for your response. Apology regarding the new thread as I was unaware about the forum's procedures relating to posting new topic.CULLINAN wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 4:44 pm1) No issue1) For the naturalisation process in regard to the referee , Will it be of any issues if one of my referee who is British Citizen and are not related are having the SAME SURNAME ?

3) Mention the estimate in the form and mention that you do not remember correctly in the additional info at the end of the form or cover letter.

Here is another confusion regarding the question on MN form. Please Assist !
It asked for any previous application I have made and also asked for "the reference number" if known . I have a letter from HO which was issued while granting the visa. So the confusion is which is the Correct REFERENCE NUMBER ? Is that the one on the TOP RIGHT where it says " Our Ref " OR the LOWER LEFT , where it says "Case Reference Number " .
Thank you in advance.
That is supposed to be AN Form . That was my silly mistake . I greatly appreciate your help.CULLINAN wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 7:06 pmLenova wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 7:00 pmDear all,

Case reference Num.
Are you sure that you are filling the right application.
It should be AN not MN(MN1?). I am assuming it was a type error.

The following can be used as evidence of residence:
• passports or travel documents which have been stamped to show arrival in the UK and entry and departure from other countries:
o these should be checked against the list of absences provided on the
application form
• Home Office records
Page 15If there are gaps in a person’s evidence of residence and it is clear from the information available that they could not have travelled, you must accept this. Examples of this might include a refugee who has no means of travel or where immigration records confirm continuous residence
HO should use Home Office records to check your residency without asking any extra evidence.If there are gaps in a person’s evidence of residence and it is clear from the information available that they could not have travelled, you must accept this. Good luck. Keep us updated;)
