Dear Cullinan,
Ok- I am chasing them. I am on a call with them now on hold for over 55 mins.
Hello Cullinan,
4 hoursnewuser79 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 9:34 pmHello CULLINAN,
I waited for 4 hours on hold on the UKVCAS number and they never answered. Finally the call got disconnected automatically
I received reply to my DM saying everything is ok with my application and there is no issue. The reply said " I will look in to it within 1-2 working days. In the meantime please continue to check regularly for appointments"
I have been checking every one hour with no luck for appointment. I havent received any email as of now
Thanks!
Dear Mr Cullinan,CULLINAN wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:13 amI hope you can sort it out soon.. try this email otherwise.. it may help...Use your son’s registered email..

Finally My son 18+ received email last night 10 pm to book an appointment. We have booked an appointment for next Tuesday in Birmingham for £199. Cheaper appointments were available for £69 from Oct 5th onwards but didnt want to take a chance given the fears of lockdown again
I attended my biometric appointment with my 15 yr old dependent. They didnt check anything except our passports. It went well. Ofcourse they didnt allow my 19 yr old dependent because he never received email until at that time
I emailed UKVACS yesterday morning- so may be its because of that. so Thank you very much expert CULLINAN for your help and advice.
Now just waiting for my decision. I know there is a link to check our updated visa status. Can one of you please share it for me please
Thanks,

Thanks very much !!
do UKVI get to see the documents before the Biometric appointment? would they let the applicants know if something is not OK with our application
Is it a right assumption that UKVI will only invite applicants for Biometrics if its going to be an approval? I was just wondering !!
Thanks!
Thanks CULLINAN- waiting for the decision now ! Fingers crossed !CULLINAN wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 10:06 amGiven the new submit feature, most likely your processing starts even before submitting biometrics. Dont worry your documents are complete.
If UKVI wants extra documents, they will write to you.
Biometrics is mandatory for everyone for the application to be valid. Everyone is called for biometrics. Decision is made on a later stage.
Most likely it won't stimulate the process although no harm in trying whilst having a plan B. Also, given the exponential rise rate of virus at/around educational establishment such request might not carry any weight.
The problem is that your son’s application will only be accepted if yours is accepted first.newuser79 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 3:01 pmHello Everyone,
My son's biometrics appointment was yesterday which was done successfully. We applied on 31st Aug 2020.
If he can get the ILR confirmation by next week Friday he can start his University. He already took a gap year and I dont want him to waste another year. Is there any chances of that happening. I know everyone's case is different but I saw people applied after me have received approvals. I was wondering if I can send an email to UKVI.
UKVCAS tweeted asking us to contact UKVI if we need an urgent decision. Do you think UKVI will consider my request if I give the reason about start of university and if it will make any difference?
Seniors kindly advice!
Thanks,
