Not Straightforward Application - UK spouse visa

Hi everyone
My name is Saira and I applied for UK spouse visa but two months ago they emailed that "the" application is not straight forward" .and after that I don't receive any email from UK visa center.
I don't understand what I do now ,please anyone if know something let me know what should I do ?

1. Please do not tag your questions onto topics not relevant to your visa route application.

2. Many get the email. There is nothing you need to do. All you can do is wait.

We got this as did very many we knew who had applied.

If your papers were in order, you will be fine but yes, it may (may, not will ) mean many weeks to wait now - the letter is arguably sent so the Home Office can say it meets targets of contacting people within 90 days max and keeping higher government offices away as officially the delay now is down to complications (which you are unlikely to be told of)

There really is nothing you can do but wait. After 6 months from applying your MP can and will send a chaser if necessary.

For us it was and when my MP got involved the visa was issued in hours.

It is tough yes but keep hope, you may well be contacted soon...you never know!

I received this email twice and I have escalated and received a response saying just wait and there is no time scale.
I did my biometric on 28th June 2021 and its been almost 5 months and having received the email for waiting I have raised this with my local MP telling me to wait 20 days for them to respond.

Hi, I have the exact same timeline as you. I did the biometrics on 28th of June 2021 too. I've escalated the case many times, on working day 99 now but still have not heard anything. Have you received any news yet?

I suspect the complex Immigration rules and Guidances may likely make applications not straight forward.

Oh no, that means they will take long my wife submitted passport 10 days back and no response yet. Have you tried contacting anyone? Keep us posted please as soon as you get your passport back

I’A Will keep you updated but it will be 4weeks on Tuesday the wait is really long I will give it by next week or I will be getting in contact with vac

Yes got in contact with Ukvi they said they can’t give a timeframe when I will receive the passport back.
