Yes. The applications are individual.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:42 pmI submitted an application for Schengen visa for duration more than an year. They asked me to enter the family details if I'm travelling with them and I entered my spouse and kids details but they never asked me the passport number of the family except mine.
1.So should I submit separate application for spouse and kids?
No. They expect you to sort it out each time you have a new trip.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:42 pm2.I have booked a holiday to visit Disneyland Paris and the holiday partner has issued a travel insurance for that trip alone. Should I take a travel insurance for more than an year as I have applied for a visa more than an year? If so, could you please give me some pointers?
Yes.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:42 pm3.I applied for more than an year as I intend to visit other Schengen countries and since France is my first destination, I'm applying in French visa site. Is that correct way?
What do you mean by "do not need the visa if she's 5"? If you're using her Indian passport for this, she will most likely be treated as an Indian national and needs a visa.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:42 pm4.My daughter has applied for British passport but have not received it yet(applied in Sep 2022 but they said it will be delayed) and I understand that she don't need the visa as she is going to be only 5 years old in May. But her Indian passport will expire in 09/07/2023 and our date of travel is 03/06/23 .Will that be a problem? Rest of us hold ILR in UK.
Depends on where the application is processed. Most likely you need to go to the TLS website.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:42 pm5.How to take appointment for documents submission. After application submission, got an email, but no information about appointment booking.
It doesn't mean she doesn't need a visa. She still needs to apply and all.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:56 pmIt was written in a site that I do not have to pay the visa fees for my daughter as she is below 6 years but she needs to attend the appointment. Is that not the case?
Yes.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:56 pmAlso will her Indian passport expiry in July be a problem?
Check the expiration date on your passport.
For a short stay visa (less than 90 days), the expiration date must be no earlier than 3 months after the date of your return from the Schengen Area;
For a renewal of circulation visa, the expiration date must be 15 months after the day you apply for a visa;
For a regular long stay visa (more than 90 days), the expiration date must be 15 months after your planned return date back to the UK.
It is fine. Your stay is the amount of a Disney trip in this case.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:56 pmIs it fine to present our travel insurance for the Disney trip which is just for the duration of the trip?
There is a grace period of three months after acquisition of foreign nationality (to be counted from the date of registration / Naturalisation Certificate and not from the date of foreign passport) for using Indian passport for travel. But the grace period is not applicable once the British/Foreign Passport is acquired, he/she should travel only on the British/Foreign passport once the same is obtained even if he/she is within the grace period of three months.
Irrelevant: you're not waiting for British passport, you're waiting for registration - two different things (british-citizenship/british-citizenship ... 36715.html).meself2 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 8:11 pmAlso you might be not being completely correct in using your Indian passport, but that's just a side note.

You can call to a third party call center, which is not staffed by UKVI employees, which I don't think will help - people reported numerous instances fo getting incorrect information.dewdrops1420 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 4:33 pmOk thank you! But anyone knows any helpline number to call to enquire about British citizenship application?
You could try emailing one or all of these email addresses listed here: british-citizenship/nationality-enquire ... l#p2093594
You have already been provided with details to contact.alterhase58 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 3:15 pmYou could try emailing one or all of these email addresses listed here: british-citizenship/nationality-enquire ... l#p2093594
You could call the UKVI contact centre: https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside- ... thing-else
Note, as advised above this helpline is a third party operation, not staffed by caseworkers, they have no access to case files and can't put you through to caseworkers, maybe they'll take a message. But try anyway.
This is your mistake. You should have checked the Schengen requirements against your daughters passport expiry.
