Married - it's not a technical status, you are legally married. One thing more shall i used the 5 years route with ILR or 3 yrs rule if u are married to a british citizen? You could use either, for the three years you need your husband's passport scan and the marriage certificate.Any answer would be helpful . Thanks ! Cheers1

Hello everyone again i apologize for being repetitive in seeking for advice. Can someone give me a clear answer on this, as i am currently married, still live in the same house but no longer together as married couple and remain as friends since 2019. My question is as i used the 5 years route form for British citizenship application and finished filling it .is it ok as i known i can use the 3 yrs route because i am married to a British Citizenship by naturalisation? Will there be a problem in the Home Office because i used 5yrs. route? Thanks and Cheers!

There is no issue with that - it's not an absolute rule, you can choose.
Everyone's application/circumstances are different, but personally I applied via five years when I could have done three years, no issue. That has been around for years.

You need your passport(s) covering the residency period, BRP, English and LITUK tests and referee declarations.
Bills, statements or employment documents not required - for UK ILR holders not needed.

Which source are you referring to?
The application requires a minimum of documents - in your case your passport is all that is required. There are people who advise to bombard caseworkers with documents but that's not necessary.

For the appointment you only bring your passport and BRP. Unless you have paid extra for document scanning. Upload everything before the appointment. Note UKVCAS are not UKVI caseworkers .

Documents you should load:
- passport
- BRP
- English Test
- lit uk test
- Referee Declarations

Future intentions can not be proved, you state it which in this case will be your plans to settle and remain in UK after getting your citizenship.

You can only apply online. There is no longer an NCS service. You cannot apply for naturalisation and the passport at the same time anymore. The NCS services was discontinued in November 2018.

You can only apply for the passport after you have attended your ceremony if your citizenship is approved.

Please refer to my previous answer - ILR holders' proof of residence is their passport(s) covering the residency period: british-citizenship/separate-but-still- ... l#p2111208.
Test done for ILR can be re-used.

When you have completed/submitted/paid your online application you then will be able to upload scans of your documents onto the application system. No originals required. There's the option to book chargeable document scanning at the biometrics appointment. Note UKVCAS are not caseworkers, your documents will not be reviewed.
Separate fee for biometrics is payable, unless you are lucky to find a free appoint
