What form do I need to fill out in order to apply for British citizenship? You can read "to be used by people in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and British overseas territories" if you download the from AN.

Is that the right one?

If not, please direct me to where I may obtain the correct information; this is all new to me, and I am becoming very frustrated.

I've been in this nation for almost 20 years, married to an EU citizen, and we're still married but not living together. Is this an issue?
I have indefinite leave to remain document issued in 2008, which need to be renewed in 2024.

Select the option “apply online” - this is the normal route if you are in the UK. You marital arrangements are not an issue. You can apply in your own right.
I recommend you slow down and do this step by step-don’t rush, avoid mistakes.

Thank you for your guidance alterhase58. Just to clarify, should I leave the "married" section empty? Additionally, if I am applying online, how can I include the photograph and the details of the two referees?

You still need to answer all questions unless they are marked optional. Not an issue if you are married and apply individually based on the 5 years route.

Referee declarations: you stick the photos on the form, get it signed, then scan and load with the other documents.

Do you not have your initial passport you entered the UK on to look back at? It doesn't matter if you don't recall the exact date.

Note that we do not have sight of the online forms. Reference numbers are not important. You have EU PR or Settled Status or a BRC, it has a reference number.

Do you mean 2001? Just put the year and a month/day, it is not an important question. You can explain in the relevant section at the end of the form.

Apologies for the confusion in my previous message. Yes, I meant 2001 as the year of my first arrival in the UK.

I'm wondering if it would be acceptable to use that page to add an explanation about my situation with the date and place of arrival. Since I don't have any documents from that period and can only recall that it was in early 2001, I want to make sure I provide all the necessary details in the most appropriate way.

There's no requirement to provide proof of the date and place of arrival, your best estimate will be ok, such as month & year. You are free to attach an explanation. But it's not an item of data which would lead to a refusal.
