ILR - financial requirements

Post by Lid92 » Sun Aug 11, 2024 10:46 am

Hi,

I have a technical question (I’m quite stressed and would like to know what will happen in the worst case scenario).

I’m on the 5 years route (spouse visa) and will be able to apply for ILR in 5 months.
What happens if the minimum financial requirement is not met for ILR, then I’ll be have to switch to the 10 year route?

Thanks

Yes, ilr will be refused and you will be asked to pay for flr fp on the 10 year route.

ILR and FPN

Post by Lid92 » Sat Jan 04, 2025 5:59 am

Hi, I hope you are all well.

I’m about to submit my ILR SET M application (spouse visa) this month and have 2 questions:

1. From my understanding, I don’t need to declare FPN? (speeding - I completed awareness course, no points on license) - am I right? If so, how does it work with applying for naturalisation? As far as I know I would need to declare it for naturalisation as pat of good character. Wouldn’t it be considered as dishonesty not declaring it also in my ILR application?

2. I had one minor driving FPN with a few points on my license from abroad 8 years ago which I completely forgot about. I didn’t declare it in my initial application (5 years ago)/extention one as I was reminded of this just today. Is this going to impact my visa outcome? Should I declare it now ?

Thank you in advance!

1. You should declare it in both applications. Just an FPN on its own has no effect on your application at all
2. You can but as it is more than 5 years ago, it does not matter

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the one from overseas. Is going to be any impact / refusal of my coming ILR visa application as I didn’t declare it in previews application as I forgot about it :/

Sorry for all of the questions, last one!
I just realised this wasn’t an FPN but NIT (Notice of Intended Prosecution), I completed the awareness course and that’s it. No court. No fine/points. Should I still declare?

Utility bills for ILR set m

Post by Lid92 » Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:55 am

Hi all,

What is considered a ‘utility bill’ for the ILR SET (M) application? Is it only gas, electricity, water, and council tax, or is there something else?

Thanks

There is no specific evidence/document required for cohabitation: All you need to know about cohabitation evidence
