ILR 10 year route

Hi Team,

I applied for ILR on 3rd Sep using the 10 year route.

UKVACS did not take my passport or BRP - they said that i have already uploaded copies of the same, and they dont need physical passport or BRP to be submitted.

Is this the standard practice - i thought we will have to submit our passport. Please let me know if this is a standard practice!

Physical documents are no longer submitted and has been like this for many years now. It's all digital.
