Travel question

Post by Medo4444 » Sat Nov 30, 2024 11:30 am

We had out the biometric taken last week (SET M), but were surprised that the passport was only scanned, not sent to the HO with the application. is this the new norm now? Does this mean we can travel while our ILR is still under consideration (visa is still valid) ?

This has been the case for many years now, likely even the same when you applied for FLR(M) extension. Originals have not been sent to UKVI since roughly late 2018.

No, you cannot travel while you have an application pending with UKVI. If you leave the UK the application will be considered withdrawn and you lose your fees paid.
