In that case, you can include the child to the same SET(O) application

Am just submitting ILR set(O) for my partner and child dependant. Have an existing visa extension application for child which I need to vary to ILR.
While filling the Set (O), have just mentioned the existing application at the beginning of the application , but it doesn't ask for any specific dependants for whom I am varying the application; and it allows me to add the all dependants under the one application.
Question - variation is just for the child dependant although am applying ILR for both partner and child under one application. So is the above steps correct ?
Or should I create two different applications ? One for partner as a new and one for child with the variation.
Thanks.
