FLR how long do I have to wait after biometric it is 7month+

Please can someone tell me how long I still have to wait ?...it very annoying when you cal ukba and all they have to tell you after waiting on the phone for an hour that it is still under processing
The worst of all I was stop from working by my employer since 23/09/12

My employer have refuse me working , put my work on hold till i bring in my permit to work in uk but as at last month I receive my p45 stating I left work November am so confuse .
