Hello , I was admitted the Uk with the (visa to join parents Cyr) which expires 4months my passport .My parents are citizens here.So a month before the visa expired, I applied for extension using the FLRO form and was refused , I appealed . I was told to report to the Croydon centre every month.I called the home office and was informed my visa was indefinite leave to enter ,and used the NTl form and it was again refused.
From my research , the entry clearance (visa) is in line with parents what does it means? I did not have recourse to public funds.
So how do i get my passport back which is retain?

Citizens of where? Everyone is a citizen of some country.

This indicates that your one of your parents or both parents has limited leave to enter/remain in the UK. See page 8/9 in link below. What is the immigration status of both your parents?

The visa in the passport stated :visa to join parents / cyr (mom's name)

Nobody told me to used the FLR(O) forms.I thought I had to extend my stay.My employers told me to renew the visa

Are you sure your visa didn't say ILE or Indefinite Leave to Enter?

What were your parents' immigration status when you applied for your Entry clearance?

If they should have granted ILE because both parents were at least settled, then ask for a correction. Else, apply for SET(F) (KoLL required).

No i did not,Just visa to join parents cyr.I applied for the visa in 2013 in Ghana
