Thanks for your reply.

Do you have if IHS is payable given father first came to uk before july 2012.

i visited all those links provided however i am still confused as excactly which application form is to be filled.

Is it VAF4A ? Can you mention both children in one form or do we have to fill two separete forms?

Also will they require an adult to sign the application.

Thanks

I believe that they have to use separate online applications. Parent signature required?

Parent coming to UK before July 2012 is irrelevant with respect to IHS.

IHS may be requested, but may be refundable, because children should be granted ILE.

Settlement Visa for Children

Post by khanlala2016 » Tue Nov 15, 2016 12:36 pm

Hi,

I would be grateful for some help in answering these questions.

in case of child applying , do you have to answer questions in part 1 of appendix 2 for example

1.5 When did your relationship begin?
1.3 When did you first meet your sponsor?
and other similar questions. I thought these are only applicable if spouse is applying?

Does the child (11 years old) signed the application form or it needs to be signed by the sponsor (father in this case)?

Sponsor is in receipt of PIP and will be claiming exemption from Financial requirments.. Do we fill appendix one or two becuase sponsor first came to the UK IN 2011 on spouse visa.

Where do we have to send the documents, is it in the UK Or UKVAC in Pakistan?

thanks

Post by khanlala2016 » Thu Nov 17, 2016 1:12 am

Hi,

Is third party support allowed for child application where uk sponsor is exempt from finanical requirement due to disability and will be providing adequate maintanance.. sponsor was granted entry before new rules kicked in july 2012. .if the accodation is not adwquate do they consider third party promises. Kindly direct me to relevant immigration rules for similiar situation...

Can you please clerify who can apply under Part_8_Annex_F & Appendix_FM_Annex_1_7A

In our case sponsor is on PIP was granted spouse visa in 2011.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... x_1_7A.pdf

i have read the above and it clearly shows third party support is not accepted.

4.2. Income sources not permitted
The following sources of income cannot be counted where an application under Appendix FM
has to meet the adequate maintenance requirement:

 Third party support.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... nnex_F.pdf

the above shows third party support can be added

Include all net income currently received, including benefits currently received to which
the person is entitled, and including third party support.

A 2 bedroom property is likely not going to be sufficient to meet the guidance on overcrowding given that 3 of the children are older.

Thank you for your reply. I read those notes where it says children between 1 and 10 counts as half and children under one are not counted.

We have one child under one and 4 girls between one and ten so thats 2 persons.

Plus one husband, wife and a boy aged over 10.

As per the link there are 5 full persons and we have 3 rooms including sitting room. I see for 3 rooms permitted nymber of person is 5.

Can you please let me know how it gets overcrowed?

Thanks for any help.
