priority visa application - Pakistan

Does anyone know if paying the £450.00 for the priority visa is actually worth it? I mean do they really expediate the visa? does anyone have any experience with paying for this service?

Just wondering if anyone has applied recently (in 2017) and what their wait time was for a priority application from Pakistan?
