Citizenship - Various Questions

Post by migrantplus85 » Sat Mar 18, 2017 11:22 am

Hi all,

Need some guidance on AN form please.

My full name is XXXXX YYYYYY ZZZZ.

The AN guide say write Surename in 1.5 (in my case ZZZZZ) and other names in 1.6 ( in my case XXXXX YYYYY).

Could you please confirm is above correct? As there is also section of Other names under 1.5.

Regards

Read the guide as it gives you exact details on how to answer the questions.
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.

Please DO NOT post full names on the forum. We are frequently visited by scammers and spammers.

1.5 is your surname

1.6 is your first name and any middle/second name you have.

1.7 is for women who have changed their name after marriage or anyone who has changed their name (adoption etc).

1.8 can be left blank if you have not had any other official name. HO are not interested in 'nick names'.

Employment History Payslips and P60

Post by migrantplus85 » Sat Mar 18, 2017 4:31 pm

Dear all,

Thanks for answering the last question.

I got one more question related to employment history.

I had 3 employers in 2015, and ofcourse P60 is from the last employer, do I need to attach payslips from other employers as well?

It is not necessary to start a new topic with every question you have on the same application. Your topics have been merged. Please keep ALL your questions in a single thread (this one).

No. You only get one P60 per year which includes all your earnings in the tax year. You must however list ALL your employers and dates etc in the relevant part of the form.

The photo you provide with your passport application is the one that will be on your passport.

Biometric enrollment is to confirm your identity and that you are the applicant. Biometric is for the citizenship application NOT the passport application.

I am assuming you are applying using NCS JCAP scheme.

Dear team,

Another question while filling the application form,

I have some P60's missing therefore I am taking confirmation from employers that i worked for them.

However I have payslips from that year, do I need to give all the payslips?

If you got employer confirmation that's probably the best - NCS may not necessarily accept loads of payslips, but take just in case.

any reference number on an HO letter you have. If you don't have one, leave blank.

Dear all,

Hope you all well.

I got question holidays on AN form

The AN guide say exclude the exit and entry days from absences from UK. I am struggling calculating total number of days then. e.g. I went for a business trip to Germany between 15/05/16 - 16/05/16.

Is it one day in total ?

Regards

That would be zero days. You only count WHOLE days out.
