FLRM EXTENSION

Post by dewana » Sun Apr 09, 2017 11:21 pm

hello gurus

i am uk citizen through tier 1general, my wife who is on FLRM, her extension is due in 3 month time, i need 18600 earning a year to get her the extension , we have 3 uk born kids..my worry is because i am self employed..

if i earned 18600 a year earning and some how after getting her the "visa extension" my earning drops below 18600 threshold later in the year when the tax is due would there be any problem for her visa?? being self employed the earning fluctuates so does any one know what are the risks?

i would appreciate any opinion

regards

If you do not meet the financial requirements then FLR(M) will fail.

Does your wife work?

thank you casafor your reply

one last question if you could tell me, that my son( 2.5 year old) who was born in the UK before i had ILR now he has a dependant visa same as my wife which is expiring in 3 months time..
i am confused whether i should apply his extension as well along with my wife or should i apply for his nationality now so that he would get it by the time his visa expires.
and some one told me that you wouldnt need to extend his visa he can stay in uk becasue he was born here, is it correct?

regards

You'll see in the Children section in this link that your child can now be registered as a British citizen as you have ILR (MNI form).

If your children are neither British nor settled, then they may expect more than £18,600.

Thank you cr00 i appreciate your reply

i have a last confusion about the mn1 form for child registration,
in refrees section it is said that

"One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion".

now my worry is if i couldnt find minister or a health visitor as a refree then can i ask any other professional like accountant to put his refence?? its realy hard to contact and convince a minister or a health visitor to agree for reference.

marcovan wrote:Hi Folks

Hopefully someone can help me with an complicated query?
My wife is coming up for her 2.5 years FLRM at end of December. I am seaman / offshore worker and have been doing agency work this year. I am paid a day rate by the agencies. I have worked for two agencies this year and both pay straight day rate in GBP but do not deduct tax or NI at source because I am working internationally, even though both agencies are UK agencies. My Wage slips directly match all bank deposits. I will be doing my tax return for April 2016 to April 2017 and will probably be due to pay some tax and NI. There fore I will have paid tax on earnings before April.
Will this be acceptable evidence for the financial requirement? I was a bit worried that because the tax and NI isn't taken at source by the agency. I can prove that money from before April was taxed using my tax return and an accountant letter, but it still worries me. I can't find any info on this online or in the GOV financial requirements.

Thanks
