Am I a genuine visitor???

Post by Old Marine » Wed Aug 09, 2017 6:57 pm

I got refused at the Brussels Eurostar portal because the attendant got the idea from my passport that I was trying to live in england with my girlfriend

I am a retired us military officer with a great pension an I don't need to work

We retirees have the privilege of flying free on us military aircraft....ramstein or miles hall are my favored destinations
.....so I don't need a ticket

I've been visiting my sweetie since 08, 22 entry stamps all for six months... because we go to Europe a lot for short stays so we are back and forth

I have a son and an aging parent in the us and I require a checkup every six months

I rent and the lease expires every six months

Now I am dealing with Mumbai to get a U.K. Visa

I fear that I will be refused again....is there a secret meaning to the term genuine visitor??? What else might I be?

Oh yes......I am an AMERICAN.....the INCENTIVE to leave England to go back to the USA should be, with all the tact I can muster, obvious

Have your frequent visits resulted in you spending more time in the UK in a 12 month rolling period than you have been spending in your home country?

I moved your topic to where it is now as you posted in a topic that clearly is not the correct place or visa category UK Tier 1 (Gen) Dependent Visas ONLY (Not ILR or Visit Visas)
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Soooo Soorrreeeee!!!
All that red type reminds me of that little attendant at Midi!!

So I guess the question was has there been a 12 month period where I spent more months in England than in the us...
Once, I busted that by a month but the nice foreign lady at heathrow 5 gave me another 6 months anyway

THANKS to Vinny!!!

I'm not interested in a private message to or from anybody. I'm trying to find out what was so different about entry number twenty three than the previous twenty two, which were all 6 months a pop, last of which was a month previous, that caused such a ruckus.
