Spouse Settlement visa

Post by Badrul Alam » Tue Sep 26, 2017 11:36 pm

Hi everyone,

I applied online for my wife’s settlement visa application on 28/08/2017.

She completed her biometrics on 31/08/2017

I got an email from UKVI saying;
Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer. And to send supporting documents. This was on the 13/09/2017.

I sent the documents on the 14/09/2017

And tracked it on Royal Mail which showed someone had signed for it on the 15/09/2017.

However I have not had any confirmation of whether they have received my documents or not.

Is there anything I can do to find out?

Also I wanted to know, does anyone know when the 60 days start for processing time. Is it from the time you submit the online application or from the day you send the supporting documents.

If anyone can shed some light into my query would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Badrul

There are delays. HO don't always send confirmation that documents are received.

There is already a lengthy discussion topic on the delays and various emails HO sends. Please continue there.
