I am on tier 1 entrepreneur visa 50k category. I am planning to open resturant as a side business.
My question is am I allowed to do any kind of side business as my main business is management consultancy and got visa on that business.
Thank you in advance!

There are no restrictions on number of businesses you are involved in - as long as you are a Director of that business

There is no such requirement.
Anyway, Tier1 applicants can only work in companies that they are Directors of. And a Director is normally a pretty high level on its own.

Just be aware that you are subject to genuine entrepreneur test and might need to explain why a management consultant is also a restaurateur. If you explain well should not be an issue

I have applied tier1 50k extention in Feb. Last week we moved company to other address. I have already updated address with companies house and sent change of circumstances form to home office with new address and 1 year office agreement.
Is there any other procedure need to follow as my application is in progress and want home office to visit new office address in case of any interview.
Thanks

Sounds right but my main business is management consultancy and this is gonna be side business for extra cash as on partnership. I have previous experience of running resturant business too.

Hello everyone.
I applied tier 1 extention in Feb and received complex letter in April. After that no update.
My passport expired last week as my application is with home office for last 7 months.
My question is what should I do now?
Will home office decide application with expired passport or should I call home office and ask them to send me passport back to get it renewed?
I can't get passport renewed without expired passport.

Ok . Thanks but specific question was already answered. It was totally different topic. I guess people mostly see the main headings and answer.

HO should be in touch with you if they do need the passport renewed.
