P60 issue please help

Post by silver13 » Fri Sep 29, 2017 10:07 pm

Hi,

I have a question to ask and would appreciate if someone can help me.

I am a British citizen and we are hoping to apply for my wife's spouse visa extension and we are going to apply under Category A in order to satisfy the financial requirement. My wife’s current spouse visa expires on the 21st March 2018.

I started my current job on 18th April 2017 and my salary is £18,612.00. However I did not receive a P60 with my current employer (Although I did receive a P60 with my old employer for 2017)

My question is as I don’t have a P60 for my current employer and I won’t receive one before my wife’s spouse visa expires (her spouse visa expires on the 21st March 2018) would this cause an issue and result in my wife’s visa being refused?

Thank you for your help. :)

P60 is not required rather just the last 6 months payslips and 6 months corresponding bank statements & employer letter.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Correct me if I am wrong, but paragraph 2A of Appendix FM-SE specifies that a P60 for the relevant period of employment may also be submitted in respect of paid employment in the UK. If they are not submitted, the decision-maker (ECO) may grant the application if otherwise satisfied.

I rather not leave it to the ECO, so my question is, it going to be an issue that the P60 is not from my current employer?

P60's are not mandatory documents. Payslips and bank statements are.
