FLR(M) premium service appointment booking date?

Post by tam1390 » Tue Jul 04, 2017 4:30 pm

Hi...

I was wondering if anyone can help me to sort out this confusion as i need to book an appointment for flr(m) premium service. All i know is that i need to book 42 days in advance but i need to know that these 42 days are including the 28 days to apply for visa extention or exluded or in other words these 42 days should be counted from the last day of your visa or from 28 days before your visa expires?

I will really appreciate any help from anyone. :)

You've misunderstood. Appointment slots are generally released onto the system 42 days in advance. This doesn't mean that you have to book your appointment within 42 days of the expiry date.

You shouldn't submit your application earlier than 28 days before your qualifying date.

Post by tam1390 » Fri Jul 14, 2017 11:07 pm

My visa is expiring on 05/11/2017. I want to apply on 09/10/2017. My questions are as follows:

1. At what earliest date I can book the appointment for premium service?

2.As it is 42 days in advance so am I correct in saying that i can book the slot on 28/08/2017 (if available)? Please advise as this is very urgent as I have planned holidays in November.

3. If I apply on 09/10/2017 then what date employment letter (s) should have as my husband has recently changed his job and we qualify under Category (B). I have been working with the same employer more than 12 months.

4. What should be the suitable dates for the employment letter (s) in september?

Thanks in advance.

1. Ideally within 28 days before reaching 2.5 years residence and definitely before your visa expires.

2. Probably yes. Not all centres show appointments so far in advance, some only show 20 days or so in advance of what is available. Not sure why it is urgent now in July.

3. Not older than 28 days. Latest payslip and bank statement must also not be older than 28 days. If you meet the financial requirement with your own salary, then you can use just that.

4. No older than 28 days before you apply.

Hi CR001,

Do you happen to know which centre gives the 42 days booking date view from the date of application?

This will enable me to choose the right centre in advance (I suppose).

Thanks in advance.

No I don't, it seems to be a hit and miss at times. You will need to keep checking. Don't stress about it, appointments are not a problem to get.

Spouse Visa FLR (M) extention in the UK

Post by tam1390 » Sun Jul 30, 2017 5:16 pm

Dear All,

I hope you are well.

I was wondering if you can let me know as below:

• Whether combined Gas and Electricity bill will be considered as a separate proof as far as the 6
different documents for last 2 years is concerned.

• What are the best documents to include in the joint names with my spouse in the application?

Many thanks for your help and patience in advance.

I look forward to hearing from you.

KIndest regards,

If on one bill it is one piece of evidence,

Have you read the form? Page 63/64 states examples of what HO expect to see in either joint names or individual names.

Spouse Visa FLR (M) extention application

Post by tam1390 » Sat Aug 05, 2017 10:43 pm

Dear All,
Many thanks in advance for reading this post. Could you please advise the below points in relation to FLR (M) spouse extension application.
I am employed with two employers for more than 6 months. My husband has an employment less than 6 months. We qualify for Category B and meet the financial requirement. My question is as below:
1 Do I and my husband both need the same type employment letter (s) required by home office as stated below.
(b) A letter from the employer(s) who issued the payslips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:
1. (i) the person’s employment and gross annual salary;
2. (ii) the length of their employment;
3. (iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and
4. (iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency).

I am asking this because I am on permanent employments and my husband has recently joined new employer.
Many thanks in advance for reading this post and I look forward to hearing from you.

If you are using combined income to meet the requirement, then both of you need to submit letters.

Dear CR001,

Many thanks for your prompt reply. Am I correct as per below:

1. Contents of letters (for me and my husband) have to be same as HO requirements under Category B?
2. Do my husband need to provide letter from previous employer with in last 12 months from the
application date?.
3. What if they provide general employment letter (only stating salary and employment period)?

I am trying to clarify points as these letters are very confusing.

Many thanks in advance and for your time.

Kindest regards,

Covering the full 2.5 year qualifying period.

As a general guidance, one piece of evidence (in joint names) every 4-5 months (or 2 in single names) = a total of 6 in joint names, or 12 in single names, from at least 3 different sources.

Post by tam1390 » Sat Aug 26, 2017 11:02 pm

Dear Casa,

Thanks for your help. I have another question as I am approaching my application very soon. I am trying to gather some information in relation to the 6 or 12 items of correspondence related to the spouse visa extension.

Background
• Me and my husband lived at the rental accommodation for first six months since the first grant of leave to remain under spouse visa
• Now, we have our own accommodation which covers remaining 2 years of the total 2.5 years.

First six months & First address since initial grant
1) We only have bank statements on individual names (2 items)
2) Tenancy agreement

Next two years (Permanent address)
1) Mortgage statement (Joint names)
2) Water Bills (Joint Names)
3) Gas & Electricity (Joint Names)
4) Council tax (Joint Names)
5) Building society statements (Joint names)
6) Individual bank statements

Question:
Shall I use most recent address as it covers two years with all documents as listed above?

Thanks for your valuable time for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you.
