Various Spouse Visa Application Questions

Post by mac1 » Sat Nov 11, 2017 4:26 pm

Hi,

My spouse will be going for her appointment early next week at a UKVI centre. I already have GWF number
since I filled the application form on her behalf. Does she need to send me her application form via post, so I can attach with rest of the documents. Or I can simply print out online copy which I submitted and send that to Sheffield ?

Priority Service from outside UK Application

Post by mac1 » Tue Nov 14, 2017 10:38 pm

I am confused on Priority service, is it available for the applications submitted outside of the UK ?
In the guidance notes It says applications submitted outside UK takes roughly 12 weeks ?

Self Employed - Ongoing Employment (Spouse Visa)

Post by mac1 » Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:42 pm

Hi Guys,

I am in similar situation, I am a sole director of a limited company. My company financial year is
from 1st Dec 2015, to 30 November 2016.

For these 12 months, I have paid salary + dividend which equates to £19100. I have paid HMRC the corporation tax and have evidence of salary of dividend going into my account.

Now 11 months already passed since end of my last financial year. During these 11 months I been paying myself salary which equates to about £800 a month. Are my finances in order ?

If you are referring to the spouse settlement visas then yes, priority service is available outside of the UK.

urgent advice neeeded

Post by mac1 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 4:41 pm

Hi,

I am a Director of a limited company I am about to submit my spouse visa application but not sure about something, basically for the last financial year of my company I had income of £19100 which I submitted accounts and returns to HMRC. Now its been 11 months since my last financial year has ended, so on going employment so far in these 11 months I have paid my myself salaries of upto
£9015. Now As far as guidance notes are concern, they will look at the income from my last financial year ? not the circumstances after that. ?

Online application form needs to be signed by the applicant before sending off to Sheffield.

Priority fee for visa can be paid at the Vac centre when you go for biometrics.

Guys for a director of a limited company, In on going employment section like its 11 months since last financial year, how do they access it. I been paying monthly salary every month.

Would they calculate that salary and apply the 18600 rule on these 11 months, or they will only judge on basis of the year I submitted my accounts to HMRC ?

Difficult question. A bit like a lottery these day - maybe you will be lucky. However, most people did not get their decisions within 15 days. Also, 15 days are not guaranteed, they play around with it.

I emailed their £5.60 service to ask if the copy of the main form submitted to Sheffield needs to be signed. They told me categorically that it does NOT need a signature. They took a signature on an electronic pad when they did biometrcs.

Appendix 2 Question

Am applying for my wife spouse visa, together we have a daughter who has British passport.

Now on online visa form and appendix 2 they asked about if you have dependent child, but she has British passport. So would she come under dependent children ?

part 1.28 . Is your sponsor responsible for supporting anyone financially, any children above ?

Would i say if my child is British ?
