Hi

I am non eea family member of eea national who is a qualified person.


I would like to ask what documents we need to send with Permanent residence application ?

I am non eu with eea2 residence card soon to expire , ( got married in August 2012 /// residence card issued Feb 2013)

My wife has been in UK & working for last 10 years. So case is straight forward. Since wedding we have been living in same house.


For her PR :

proof of working 5 or 6 P60s ? ( annex H) Anything else ? Is letter from employer necessary ??

We both have our name on COUNCIL TAX BILL, will 5 Council tax bills enough to cover proof of addess that we both are living at same address ?

As non eea family member, what do I need to send ? My payslips ( they have address written on it ) ?

Will 5 council tax bills will be enough ? Or we need send more proof of address or residence ? Do we need bank statements ?


Please clarify.

( panicking as if not apply soon , might loose my permanent job at a well known employer as I have been given 60 day notice to have " RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENT " ready by Feb 2018 when residence card runs out.

Hi, you need 5 P60s from your EEA sponsor to cover the tax years from 2012/13 to 2016/7.

You also need your marriage certificate and EEA sponsor passport or European ID. If you have a joint bank account covering the period that will also be nice to add.

Nowadays, you would typically get a COA within 2 weeks of applying and that will give you a right to work so should cover you with regards to your employment.

We don't have joint bank accounts, but have been in same house since marriage or prior to marriage.


But do we actually need bank statements ?

Or just send 5-6 years council tax annual bills ?
Wife ( Eu national) has 10 years P60s, no problem there. Got Id card & passport too.


Just confused about myself , as non ea family member , what do I need to provide as supporting evidence ?

Will 5 council tax bills covering our 5 years together be enough ? Or need something more ?

Are letter from employer necessary for Eu national ? ( Eea4 guideline annex h only says 5 p60s )

Just confirming as dont want mess up my application.

Should I enclose 3 extra special delivery envelopes ? To get acknowledgement ( biometeric) & coa sent to me faster ?

Also,

If I dont get COA by feb 2018 when my eea2 residence card runs out, if my employer rings home office ? Would they say I have right to work or not ??

Hi

Can anyone please advise if sending just 5 annual council tax bills are enough to cover residence with Eu national spouse ? As both my and my wife's name is on council tax bills.

Do we need any addidtional documents as proof of residence ?? As we haven't bank statements, online banking ( can get but its just hassle) ,

Utility bills are online too. We dont have recent tenacy agreement, as landlord lives in Thailand & is happy with rent paid on time.

My p60 & payslips have address on it.

Please advise.

Hi, the 5 years worth of council tax bills will be fine in addition to all the other documents you have mentioned.

5 council tax bills with name of non eea + eea family member , couple of utility bills ,

6 P60s of Eea national & 5 P60s of non eea national , plus Tv licence bills . All sorted, need 2 photos now

Further more , Is it okay to write a letter to case Deputy case worker to expedite the application outcome?

As I have a letter from employer which states " my temporary right to work ( eea2 5 year residence card) will expire in feb 2018, to provide right to work document by then , otherwise my employment will be terminated.

Will that letter from employer ( well known employer ) be an evidence to request expedited application ?

The residence card is a confirmation of your existing rights as a family member of an EEA national.

Therefore your right to work will not end just because your residence card expires. Basically the expiry date on the residence card is irrelevant.

My advice is that you should put in an application with what you have as soon as you can. So at least you can get your COA as soon as possible or even PR in quick time.

I will submit an online application tomorrow & send documents with special delivery by 1pm on Wednesday with a letter requesting expedited decision.

Its hard to argue with HR manager who want see in black & white. I hope to geg CoA soon.

Just a bit of further clarification. Your right to work is not derived from the residence card. Rather it is derived from your status as the family member of an EEA national.

Thank you very much, I was about to ask about the legislation in question. Perhaps, printing it off & handing over to HR manager might help.
