Hi friends
i applied for tier 2 visa on December 6th 2017.
unfortunately they have rejected my visa as i had submit my IELTS ACADEMIC results sheet inorder to claim 10 points for english language requirement. later only, I came to know that I should apply with IELTS for UKVI.
So, I booked IELTS for UKVI Academic module. The exam date is 6th January 2018.
I have a doubt whether i should give academic or general module of ielts for UKVI as some forums suggest that general would be ok. My question is , would the UKVi accept academic module. or do I need to change the module.
Kind regards.

my visa was also rejected for the same reason, I took the ielts ukvi general training and about to reapply for the visa.
if you're applying for a work related visa then ielts ukvi general training is the one to take.

You have already been refused for using the academic test.
Your choice what you do and if you want to risk another refusal.

Both General Training and Academic flavours are accepted for Tier 2. The important bit is the "for UKVI" part that you overlooked last time.

You need
EITHER a foreign degree and NARIC,
OR you need IELTS UKVI.

Hi CR001
At last my module chenged to general UKVI. I am waiting for the results.
Besides,
I have some more questions.
1.i faced several interviews few months back. At first i received an job offer from hospital A. Following that hospital B offered me a job for better salary and benefits. As i accepted the offer of hospital A, i denied the offer and said i ll consider ths in future. But my interviewer asked me to start my pre employment check. So i sent my docents for them too. But I seeiosly focused on A offer as my motive was to move UK first. Finally my visa got rejected. So i need a new COS. So i contact the hospital B and asked me to offer COS. They issued in a couple of days. In the mean time i withraw my 1st offer explaining abt my personal circumstances.
Q A. Is it possible to issue COS in 1 day? ( bcz hospital A took around 20 days)
Q B. When I apply for my secind visa would it be a problem as I am giving new COS? Also do I need to give cover letter explaing how I got this COS?
2. With first application i supplied my accomodation offer letter. I paid for that accomodation and waiting for refund. I contact hospital B accomodation and they said that they cant allocate this early as my starting date is on March. So shall I able to give their address without their offer. Or else is it possible for me to give my hospital address with my application.
3. In my TB certificate, my previous address was mentioned. Do i need to change my address on TB certificate. Also, Is it possible to leave address part of TB blank?
Thanks

Hi friends.
For tier 2 visa application, is it necessary to provide address where i am going to stay. In my case, I made an application with my hospital accomodation. Unfortunately they told me that they cant finalise until february as my starting date is March. But I am going to apply visa end of this month. When I was asking grom my employer they told me that if possible I can use their address as care of address.
If not how can i find accomodation in uk? Is it possible to book outside? If so do i need to get letter from land lord?
Kind regards

As a conclusion, can anyone share their experience on this? Does IELTS UKVI academic work or one has to take IELTS UKVI general training?
