Casual hours and applying for my partner to come to the uk

Post by Tayba_tee » Wed Jan 17, 2018 8:35 pm

Hi I’m new to this can anyone help me?
I want to apply for my partner to join me in the uk, I know that I need to meet the threshold of £18,600 annually I will make more than that close to 20,000 but on a casual hour contract.will this work? If I can show this is frequent and providing 12 months of payslips showing that the payments are regular and I am committed, will this be sufficient for the Home Office?
Any help will me much appreciated x

You also need to show that your level of income will continue in the future. For example: if one were relying on overtime to meet the threshold, your employer would need to write a letter saying overtime could continue.

HO don't care about the type of contract/pattern of hours you working rather they are only concerned to ensure that whether the required income is being.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi There,
U need to do some research about the £18600 financial requirement. I give u some idea.
If u r a salaried employee u must earn at least £1550 gross per month in last 6 months. They will see your last 6 months payslips and bank statements. £1550*6= £9300.and they will take the average of 12 months which is £18600.
If your salary is less than £1550 in any month(last 6 months), visa will be refused straight away.

Unmarried partner
You would need to submit substantial evidence of 'living together in a relationship akin to marriage' for 2 years immediately preceding the application to qualify for an unmarried partner visa. This is mandatory and there is no discretion on this.

What kind of evidence?

Joint tenancy agreements or mortgage statements, joint bank statements, utility bills, government letters, NHS letters, other bills, etc etc.

Page 64 of the link below gives an indication of what HO expect to see for an Unmarried Partner visa.
