Passport Return Options

Hi,

I am looking to apply for the British Nturalization but have a few concerns about the speed at which I will receive my documents back.

Currently using my Polish passport on frequent basis for business travel - without it I am in a bit of a pickle.

What options are there for me to receive it back as quickly as possible, or not even send the original through (if that is at all possible).
I have so far been filling out the application form online, but happy to go down a different route if it makes more sense given my circumstances.
